Bishop Richard D. Prim is a Board Certified Chaplain. For thirty years, he served as a church pastor in Kansas City. After retiring in 2015, he returned to school to pursue Clinical Pastor Education (CPE) at Advent Health Shawnee in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. Since 2018, he has served as a hospice chaplain. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Indiana Christian University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Afterwards, he graduated from the Southern California School of Ministry with a Master's in Ministry and a Doctor of Ministry. He participated in various local and national boards and committees. He specializes in treating patients and their families with compassion, empathy, and sympathy. He is also passionate about using technology to get people into the word and the word into people.
