About Us

Every morning at 7 a.m., the Rev. Morris Hatton sits at his desk, plays a few notes from his keyboard and delivers his Daily Devotions for over 30 minutes. However, Hatton isn’t preaching to anyone in his home. He’s preaching into a web cam, which is live on Facebook.
“I call it cell phone evangelism,” Hatton said. “I got the idea when I went to First Church of God in Lenoir, and this young man came in and talked about the power of online services.”
Hatton, a minister for over 42 years, has been doing online-based ministries for a little over a year.

“The more I prayed about it, I decided I needed to reach out to more people.” Hatton, a native of Boone, has been preaching the word of God since 1974 after finishing school at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas.
