Community of Champions Annual Conference

The Black Church
"For Such A Time As This"
The role of the Black Church in our communities is significant. It serves not only as a place of worship but also as a hub for support, activism, and cultural pride. The Black Church provides a safe space for individuals to gather and share their stories while leading the way in the pursuit of social justice. It has truly been a beacon of hope and resilience. I am grateful for its rich history and the profound impact it continues to have on countless lives!

About this conference
The Black Church, as an institution and community, has long served as a vital pillar of the African American experience, providing spiritual guidance, social support, and a space for collective identity. The phrase "for such a time as this"(from Esther 4:14) can be interpreted within the context of the Black Church as a call to action and a recognition of its unique role in addressing the challenges faced by the Black community.
